Ribbon – ink ribbon or cartridge for thermal transfer.

Thermal transfer printing is carried out by transferring ink from the ribbon (ribbon) to the label. Three types of ribbons are used: WAX – wax-based, designed for Vellum material, paper; RESIN – based on a special synthetic resin, designed for polypropylene material, textiles; WAX / RESIN – a mixture of wax and synthetic resin, designed for the material Vellum and polypropylene. The ink ribbon has a special coating on the reverse side, which removes static electricity and protects the thermal head from wear.
