The Zidoo X20 model has been equipped with an additional HDMI output dedicated exclusively to audio signals, enabling the reception of an existing, older device, eg a Full HD receiver, audio content from the 4K stream and HDCP 2.2. At the input resolution of 4K @ 60Hz on one HDMI output we get the signal without changes, and on the second HDMI output a black image of lower resolution with unchanged sound is displayed. Thanks to such a solution, we can use Zidoo X20 simultaneously, 4K TV and receiver or other device supporting sound with maximum 1080p input resolution.

The player supports full passthrough as well as downmix of all HD-Audio multi-channel audio formats, including Dolby Atmos and DTS: X.
